Preoperative Assessment & Design
An assessment will be performed based on your individual waist and ribcage structure to confirm the appropriate infolding range for angular waist shaping. A personalized surgical plan will then be developed to support a refined waistline contour.
Softening Angular Waist Infolding
The angular waist infolding procedure uses ultrasound-based softening on the 10th to 12th floating ribs to improve tissue pliability before guiding the rib contour inward. Ligaments and muscles are fixed under endoscopic guidance to support waistline reshaping and a more defined hourglass contour. The procedure is designed to be less invasive, and in selected cases the core adjustment step may be planned as a relatively short operation. Surgical duration, discomfort level, recovery timeline, and final contour vary by individual. A custom compression garment may be recommended after surgery to support postoperative shaping.
Angular Waist Infolding & Fixation
After ultrasonic softening, the surgeon uses endoscopic minimally invasive techniques to guide the selected rib contour toward the planned position for angular waist shaping. The ligament and muscle fixation approach is designed to support structural stability and soft-tissue adaptation.
Postoperative Shaping & Recovery
After surgery, a customized compression garment may be used to support postoperative contour management. Incision visibility, discomfort, and recovery timeline vary by individual.
